Computer giant Hewlett Packard Jobs has given the Scottish jobs market a boost by announcing the creation of around 700 new IT jobs

These new jobs will be created at it's Renfrewshire base by 2014.

To help finance this development the IT market leader has received several million pounds from Scottish enterprise .

The recruitment at the Erskine base will commence in November. An Hp spokesperson Marc Walters commented ,"I am delighted to confirm our investment to develop the Erskine site as a hub for delivering industry leading technology."
