Thousands of armed forces veterans could benefit from a new action plan in a bid to help more disabled people into work.There are an estimated 28,000 veterans in Scotland who are out of work, with more than half of this group having a long-term illness or disability.Unemployment rates are higher among disabled people than the general population - just under half, 48.1%, of people with disabilities are in work compared to 75.6% for the population as a whole.
