100 New Jobs Created

A credit and debt firm has announced today that it is to create 100 new jobs in Kilmarnock.Mackenzie Hall, which helps firms trace debtors as well as helping clients pay what they owe, said it dealt with more than £1m in individual debts annually. The company employs 100 people. It said 50 more are expected to be recruited in the next few months, with more posts due to be created later in the year. Scotland's bankruptcy rate is nearly double that of England and Wales. About 24,500 Scots were made bankrupt in 2009, nearly one in every 220 people.
