The Company

Our client are a Radio Station and part of a market leading international media organization with many instantly recognizable household brand names in broadcast, online and published products. An established national and international brand at the forefront of their sector they provide their clients with a range of innovative and ground breaking media platforms designed to place their customers brand at the front of their audiences mind.

The Role

They currently require a Radio Advertising Field Sales Executive to sell radio airtime advertising, online and sponsorship opportunities to new and existing SME and corporate customers in Glasgow and surrounding areas. This role will involve the management of a territory where you will be responsible for targeting an already identified potential client base and sourcing new leads. You will be responsible for warm and cold telemarketing calls to obtain face to face sales meetings with potential customers. This is a structured sale where you will identify the business needs then create, design and present innovative advertising solutions tailored to the client to ensure results. Once on board you will manage and nurture existing accounts, ensuring optimisation of revenue streams. You will have the support and back up of strong case studies, presentation tools, metrics and marketing information to ensure sales success.

The Candidate

To apply you will require experience of field sales from any media sector (i.e radio, outdoor, magazines, online, exhibition, newspapers, etc) coupled with solid documented evidence of success. You will be able to put across a strong sales argument with excellent presentation skills, drive and enthusiasm and the ability to come up with creative ideas that are commercially viable. You will have a strong understanding of the media and marketing departments, coupled with drive, motivation and passion to dev elop new business in a competitive market. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate at all levels
