A fantastic opportunity to work for the Rail division of a leading construction contractor. With a strong forward order book my Client has a requirement for a Managing Quantity Surveyor with a Civils / Rail background based in Scotland.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager and working closely with the Operations Manager you will be responsible for the overall management of forecasting/cost loading, contractual issues and the risk process on projects as well as the management of your QS site team.
You will need to be able to confidently liaise with Client commercial representatives and able to manage your workload in a logical, methodical manner and demonstrate an enthusiastic and committed approach.
Relevant qualifications are essential including BSc / HND in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent), ideally with membership of a professional body, along with experience in a similar role in the Rail / Civils sectors and be fully computer literate.
